Cleaning methods for work clothes and T-shirts

Wash with warm water: T-shirt experts say that cleaning agents have a stronger ability to remove dirt in higher water temperatures, as they can penetrate the fibers inside the clothing and clean the dirt thoroughly. One important reason why white T-shirts turn yellow is that the dirt is not thoroughly cleaned. It is recommended to test the water temperature by hand, which should be slightly lower or equivalent to the hand temperature. Excessive water temperature can easily cause the T-shirt to shrink.

After machine washing, it is best to air dry the T-shirt immediately and add a certain amount of fabric softener during washing to prevent wrinkling. If washing in a washing machine, be sure to air dry it immediately after spin drying. Because at this time, clothes often twist into a ball, and the fibers of T-shirts are more prone to deformation due to twisting, so they need to be air dried first.  

To keep a white T-shirt bright and white, one way is to reduce the amount of clothes washed with it, so that the T-shirt fibers absorb less other colors. The second is to wash with light colored clothes that are the same color or do not fade.

Hydrogen peroxide restores white color. Hydrogen peroxide has little destructive effect on clothing fibers and can also restore color. Use 3% concentration of hydrogen peroxide, with a mixing ratio of 10:1 between water and hydrogen peroxide. Soak for a while before washing, then rinse thoroughly.
